Products Process Policies

Ever since I was a child, I loved to fold and I loved working with fabric. I folded fancy napkins for special dinners. I folded fortune tellers when I was in school. I folded envelopes for notes. I just loved to fold. My love of fabric began when my grandmother taught me to sew when I was 12 years old (decades ago!). I have wonderful memories of going to the fabric store with her, gazing upon the multitude of fabric bolts, perusing the patterns, and immersing myself in the joy that came from creating clothes and functional items. How serendipitous that I have followed my passion, combining two of my greatest loves -- fabric and folding! I'm going into my 9th year of business and count myself fortunate that I still love to put on my earphones, groove to the music, and fold to my heart's content.

Product Description
My origami line of personal accessories are handcrafted from the finest Batik fabric that has been stiffened to a paper-like texture through a proprietary process. The result is a durable, lightweight, and functional personal accessory item that is unique and one-of-a-kind.

I fold the checkbook covers using origami techniques which create pockets on the inside for the checks and register. The folding also creates two pockets on the outside of the cover -- a perfect place for stashing cash, receipts, grocery lists, deposit slips, and appointment cards. There is no glue or stitching -- the geometry of the integrated origami folds ensures the cover won't fall apart.

The card case has four pockets - 2 on the outside and 2 on the inside. The inside pockets are great for credit/debit cards while the outside is perfect for business cards, espresso cards, etc.

All products are individually packaged and ready for gift-giving (or keeping!) A vinyl check divider for duplicate/carbon checks is included with each checkbook cover.

Keeping Busy
Each winter, the Originals by Peacock family (Nancy, hubby Guy, and son Jeremiah) is busy in our production studio stiffening nearly 600,000 square inches of batik fabric. The Fall before production, I'm like a kid in a candy shop when I meet with my fabric rep and select the next year's line. See the outcome of my selections to find a design just right for you!
